Now the Continental factory (formerly part of the Teledyne group) is in hands of the Chinese AVIC corporation. And it has been renamed Continental Motors Inc.
From Appendix 9: We have a new boxer engine from this famous General Aviation engine builder. It is a Diesel engine with identification TD-300.

-It is an engine of a new line of diesel engines for General Aviation. The range includes the 4-cylinder TD-300 with 200-250 hp, The 6-cylinder TD-450 with 300-350 hp. All of them with turbo. (TD=TurboDiesel)
-A TD-220 will be 4-cylinder again, obviously. This range is built due to the uncertainty of obtaining AVGAS 100LL gasoline in the US and Europe.

-Continental USA/China. After its acquisition by AVIC, a new line of engines appears like Diesel TD, of which we show the TD-300 below. Certified in 2012. It's a turbo-diesel.

-The Continental IO-360-AF and O-200-AF are illustrated below. The first one was designed in 2011 and the latter has its date of appearance in 2013.

From Appendix 10: The CD (Continental-Diesel "300 is the latest addition through the Austrian TAE company, the Centurion 6-cylinder V engine. Thielert went into bankruptcy and AVIC absorbed them.

-It is supposed that the entire Continental and Teledyne-Continental range is still assumed and serviced by the new corporation.
-After the acquisition by the Chinese AVIC group, it has continued to acquire subsidiaries and other smaller aircraft engine manufacturing brands. (Air cooled, Danbury Aerospace, Precision Eng. Parts, Airmotive Eng. Sterling, ECI, etc.) and finally it seems that Titan Eng has been as well.
-The latter one provides the four-cylinder engine giving 145 to 212 hp and the six-cylinders giving 260 to 305 HP.
-But finally, the Diesel engines offered by Continental Motors, after numerous attempts with this type of engines (see main text), have been: for the small range, the so-called CD 100 series, the CD-135 and CD-155 models (CD for Continental Diesel and the figure is the power).

-The 100 CD Series, are actually the TAE (see) turbocharged 1.7 four-cylinder, inline 125 models.
-For the Cessna 172 they already offer them with air intakes for turbocharger and radiators.

-These ones can replace the Continental engines that are used in small single-engine aircraft like Robin, Piper, Socata, etc.
-We can see that the TAE Centurion 2 is exactly the same engine as the Continental CD-100 series.

-The CD-200 series is yet a typical Continental engine with four horizontally-opposed cylinders and is offered with two power outputs the CD-230 and CD-245. They are Diesel engines with turbocharger as well.

In the last stage under its new owners of China's main aeronautical organization, AVIC, there are appearing new engines for the new times.
-The IO-240 becomes the IOF-240, with similar architecture. Underneath the engine, a part of the exposure bracket confuses us.

-Another modified version is the IOF-550, a light variant of the TSIO-550. With two turbochargers and intercoolers, one at each side.

-Under the direction of the new Chinese owner (AVIC Int'l), it acquires the ability to manufacture the ex-Thielert V6 Centurion.

-As a curiosity we now have a radial engine made by an amateur using Continental cylinders, good looking (except welded air ducts).
