The Rausenberger engines were first built by Dayton Aero Motors.

-Designed by Rausenberger, their engines were later manufactured by the Steel Products Engineering Co. (SPE), especially the six-cylinder, which would be known by the diminutive name of “Rausie”.

-The A model was a 45 HP V8 built around 1910.

-The B model was another 75 HP V8, released the following year, 1911, and was produced until 1912.

-The C Model is already a 12-cylinder V at 60°. It was known as the 150 HP C-12, and was manufactured between 1914 and 1915.

-There were differences between the initial C-12 and the one from 1916. Above all for using new cylinders and a new intake system.

-The outer sleeves were made of red copper, which were longer in the latter model.

-The Model D V-12 was designed in 1917, giving 325 HP at 1,600 rpm.

-The “Rausie” E-6, was a water-cooled, 6-cylinder, vertical, in-line engine. It gave 175 hp at 1,650 rpm.

-Among its characteristics are the steel cylinders with an aluminum outer lining forming the water chambers. They were manufactured in the early 1920's.
