The Steel Products Engineering Company of Ohio built aircraft engines in the mid-1920s, such as the “Rausie” E-6, a 6-cylinder in-line engine giving 175 HP at 1,650 rpm. See Rausenberger.
“SPE-Rausie, E-6”
-In 1924 there were two engine projects, one was a Flat Twin and the other a radial.
-The horizontal twin-cylinder engine gave 20 HP at 3,000 rpm. Harold E. Morehouse was involved in the project, although he was already at Wright Aeronautical.
“Bicilíndrico de 20 HP”
-The 5-cylinder radial engine was to deliver 95 HP at 2,000 rpm. We have no further information on this engine, but we are continuing our research.
