OMSK/Baranov/Glushenkov engine specifications

If OMKB is the Design Bureau, OMSK is the construction factory.

-The previous structure of OKB as the design office and GAZ as the aircraft engine builder, is the same, but with changed names.

-OMSK was known as Baranov with its antecedents in 1916.

-It currently builds the GDD-3, the AL-21, PS-90, TVD-20, TV7-117, RD-33, etc (the latter from the Klimov and Chernisev organization).

-AU, APP auxiliary power groups are also built, such as the USU-10.

From Appendix 9: OMSK was initially related to Baranov and was later led by Glushenkov. Baranov dedicated himself to the improvement and construction of the Ash-82T and V.

-The first GTD-1 turboshaft came out from OMSK around 1958. The GTD-3 ran in 1960, followed by the -F and -M variants.

-The GTD-5 (and -M) appeared in 1963. The GTD-5 (GTD-40) came out in 1967. In 1968 the TVD-10 appeared. The -M version along with the TVD-20 came out in 1971.

-The VSU was derived from the TVD-20 and came out in 1978. In the following years, derivatives of these engines appeared.

-The TV-O-100 and the VGTD-43 were next.

-The VSU was also known as VGTD and it was an auxiliary group that generates pressured air at temperature in addition to electrical energy.

-The GTD-400 is a 400 hp turboshaft/turboprop. In 2005 it was considered a project.
