“Mado MD-550”
-The MD-550 model is based on the Limbach type L-550, two-stroke, four-cylinder boxer engine. The engine is intended for UAV.
“MD-550 side view”
-In this side view, on the front part, we see a plate with peripheral gear for electric starting. And at the rear a generous generator (alternator) to supply power to the carrier vehicle.
“Mado MD-275-2”
-MD-275-2 is exactly half the MD-550 four cylinder engine, with each cylinder also having its own carburetor.
Beneath the engine is the electric starter.
Therefore it is an engine with two cylinders of the same size as the MD-550, in horizontally-opposed positions, that is, a boxer.
-MADO also manufactures a Wankel-type motor for the same purpose as the ones mentioned above. This time it is based on the Chinese BMP, and it is called MDR-206 (R for rotary).
“MDR-206, Wankel type”
-There is an assortment of single-cylinder engines with various adaptations for drones. They are not identified at the moment, but one of them could be the MD-26.
