Kussner designed a low-consumption diesel engine and high power that was tested for transatlantic flights with a Junkers concept but with notable differences. It was a six double-cylinder engine that delivered 1,250 hp at 1,875 rpm

“Cross-section”
-In fact there are two combustion chambers in each cylinder and the pistons and counter-pistons are interconnected. This system significantly reduces the engine's weight as they total 12 chambers in a 6-cylinder engine.
