There is a story of an “unborn” engine due to the interruption of the Spanish civil war.
-In June 1036, in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Gerona), Sebastián and his son were building a Mignet “Pou-du-ciel” with plans and manuals received from France, from designer and builder.
-Originally the flea plane was equipped with a small "Aubier & Dunné" engine. But later all kinds of engines like the AVA, the Ruby-Pegignot, Volkswagen, etc. were adapted.
-Sebastian, with experience in automobile workshops, decided to make an engine by copying the Renault Mona-Quattro engine from a few years earlier.
-Of course, as we will see, the block instead of cast iron was repeated with new molds, to make it in aluminum cast.
“Parts of the engine for presentation” (from the original blog)
-It has been Sebastian's great-grandson who has recovered the remains of plane and engine, which he is continuing to build, as we see.
“View from another angle”
-Next a view of the engine parts on the original table, in the dependence where they were.
-Some pieces received adequate treatment in specialized workshops and even at the Elizalde factory.

"The crankshaft is completely rusty"
-Supposedly the order of ignition would be the classic 1-3-4-2 or the alternative 1-2-4-3 (less used). See blog Aerospace.engines.blogspot.com, Capitulo DXCI.
