In the year 1924 ILO made one of its first engines, a twin cylinder that gave 5 CV at 3,000 rpm.
“ILO 5 CV engine”
-The pistons were 56 x 66 mm. In the poor previous photograph it is shown mounted on a small German Weltensegler-Eindecken airplane.
-It is difficult to separate and at the same time identify ILO with JLO, from Rockwell, see Cuyuna.
“ILO, 3-cylinder engine”
From Appendix 6: The 2-stroke, 3-cylinder engines gave 37/40 CV. They had an upright crankshaft, and have been used on the small Bolkow Bo-102 and Bo-103 helicopters.
“A Bo-103, single-blade with counterweight”
-The 2-stroke, 3-cylinder, in-line engine is from the 1960's. It gave 40 CV at 3,000 rpm.
-The one shown is a vertical working engine, installed on the small Bolkow Bo-102 helicopter. It is the L-3 model.
From Appendix 12: Below, we show two ILO engines. One with upright inline cylinders and the other with two horizontally opposed cylinders.
“The FL2-400 viewed from both sides” (PiP-Flu)
“ILO, 2-cylinder boxer” (PiP-Flu)
-The 5 CV engine (OIT) from the main text obtained its power at 1,800 rpm.
