International Aero Engines is an International group that initially was based in Switzerland and incorporates important brands of engine builders.

-The V-2528D5 version of 28,000 lbf is mounted on the MD90-40.

-The product they offer is the V-2500 turbofan engine for use in commercial aircraft, which enters into direct competition with the CFM-56 of the other important group formed by GE and Snecma.
