HIGGS engine specifications

Andy Higgs is an Englishman with a stay of about 30 years in Japan, and in the company ACE (Advanced Component Engineering), dedicated to modifications of Lycoming, such as the case of 0-540 named by ACE as the AC-568 "Efii Conversions Rocks", he has created some interesting Diesel engines.

-They are the E-1000 model, a 2-stroke V-12 giving up to 1,000 hp, consuming Jet A-1. It has the possibility to get into competition with the PT-6 in the case of the Cessna Caravan, free competition for fuel consumption.

-It is still in the design process and after that it must go through at least three years for its approval. It is not a new job because Higgs has already made other V-engines with another brand.

-It is designed to be used up to 10,000 ft. It can reach 38,000 ft with turbochargers.

-Another less powerful engine is the E-300 four-cylinder V with the same architecture.

-The expected power is 120 hp, very useful for ULM, Drones, etc. Even for VLA and General Aviation.
