(see Potez).

In the last era, before entering Snecma, it dedicated itself to building engines for light and general aviation, such as the 4E, with a classic design like Continental and Lycoming.

-This engine is a horizontally-opposed, four-cylinder engine that gives 90 hp. It has two spark plugs per cylinder. However, a feature that differentiates it from all of them is that the ignition is produced by the "Delco" system, depending on a battery.

-This is unusual, because double ignition is usually divided into two independent systems of the airplane and with a magneto for each system, independent of each other.

-The magnetos produce their own high-voltage current. For security.

-To know the importance of H. Potez's production in the French aeronautical industry, see the "Potez" chapter.
