Helwan's "Egiptian General Aero Organization" built engines like the E-300 for the "Helwan" aircraft.

-It was the Hispano Suiza HA-300, built under license and designed by W. Messerschmitt.

-This turbojet engine was designed and developed in this factory by engineer F. Brandner to replace the RR Orpheus that was intended to be installed on that supersonic plane.

-The E-300 delivered 7,275 lbs. of thrust dry and 10,580 lbs with afterburner.

-EGAO built several models of autochthonous turbojets. For example, the E-200 called "The Kahera", the mentioned E-300 and the E-300A.

-The E-300C-1 gave 6615 lbs. and was similar to the E-300A. The E-300C-2 delivered 7495 lbs. The E-300PX or the E-300AF with After Fan.

-The E-300A had a 9-stage compressor, cannular combustor with 10 internal chambers and a 2-stage turbine. There are other works and projects carried out under the name of Helwan-AOI (see).
