At the Helwan aeronautical factory, located precisely in the city of the same name, the Spanish-origin aircraft, Hispano Aviación HA-300, or Helwan HA-300 was prepared, and to propel it, the Helwan E-300 and E-300A engines were designed by the Austrian professor Ferdinand Brandner.
Por EGAO vemos una sección del motor E-300. También destinado al Hindustan HF-24 Marut.
Through EGAO we see a section of the E-300 engine. Also intended for the Hindustan HF-24 Marut.
-The engine project began around 1960, suspecting that many parts came from the western world.
-It had the same dimensions as Bristol's Orpheus.
-At Helwan they also worked on the construction, assembly and testing of engines that were used in the Egyptian Armed Forces, such as the Larzac-04 or the P & WC PT6.
-According to the acquisitions of new material, this factory had to intervene in the F-100, F-404 or M-53 engines, depending on who was the winner of the planned products.
