Engineers Franklin House, Carl Doman and Ed Marks took over the factory after its bankruptcy and formed Air Cooled Motors, continuing the manufacturing line and in the same city of Syracusa.

-We already saw that it was later acquired by the Republic Aircraft Corp. to ensure the production of its aircraft, especially the beautiful and useful RC-3 Seabee.

-Then came the purchase by Tucker in 1948 and in 1961, Aero Industries acquired it and called it Franklin again until 1974 when it was acquired by Audi SA in Brazil who sold it with the FAA Type Certificates included to WSK-PZL in 1975.

-Again, in 2002 it was acquired by United Technologies Corp. (UTC) to work and increase the production of P & W in Canada, being the PZL subcontractor of them. It is not known if have been building Franklin engines again.

-Concretely Doman-Marks Engineering Company was formed by them in 1937 with a particular engine, the DM that gave 50 hp and had a displacement of 126 cu. in.
