The Volante engines were built by L'Aile Volante, of Suresnes in the Seine department.
-They were built from 1936 to 1940.
-The CC.2 model had two horizontally-opposed cylinders and gave 40 hp.
-In 1936, a four-cylinder horizontally opposed engine was introduced in Suresnes under the reference CC-4, producing 65 hp at 2,400 rpm.
-A two-cylinder, 40 hp version was planned at that time. (Not to be confused with the Aerien CC, see)
