This is Vesta Inc. of Pillstom, NJ. It specializes in adapting automotive engines for aviation use.

-It builds the necessary accessories, especially the reduction gearboxes for the propeller, as seen in all the examples below.

-From General Motors' Chevrolet, it uses the LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS376, and LS7 engines. It also uses the Chevrolet Big-Block 572.

-We have seen these engines in standard modifications, with water radiators underneath forcing air through electric fans, like in the cars they came from.

-For various applications in higher-performance aircraft, radiators are placed on both sides of the engine to receive ram air.

-The LS2 engines are Corvette engines, with a reduction gear.

-The LS3 engines produce 260 HP, while the LS376 goes up to 450 HP. Standard and supercharged.

-Another engine is the 3.5-liter, 240-hp Honda V6 or the 3.7-liter, 270-hp (300 and 320 hp supercharged).

-Another important adapted engine is the General Motors Duramax Diesel V8, but designed by Isuzu.
