Verner Motor Ltd. of the Czech Republic, based in Sumperk, began developing highly interesting, reliable, and robust four-stroke twin-cylinder engines in 1998.

“Verner VM-133M”
The Verner VM-133M gives 78 hp at 5,000 rpm, with a 0.5 gear reduction, and has been offered since 2002.
The VM-133MK version is available, producing 84 hp at 5,500 rpm and with two reduction ratios.

“Verner VM133MK”
The overall weight is approximately 68 kg, with a fuel consumption of 8.6 liters/hour at 3,550 rpm.
The VM-1400 or SVS-1400 is basically the same engine, but with a timing belt reduction gear. Like the VM133M, it has two horizontally-opposed cylinders.

“Verner SVS-1400”
-The VM-1400 (SVS-1400) with 80 hp and 5000 rpm was offered between 1998 and 2004. Below we see it installed on a microlight.

“VM 133 MK”
-There is also an S version (see main text). Another one is the “1400”.
-However, the 133s, and now also the VM125, prevail. We see two applications of the VM133 below.

“VM 133 on an X-Air and on a Trike”
- A new engine is the VM125T, giving 78 hp at 5,800 rpm with a reduction gear.

“VM125T”
- We see that the engine weight (without the exhaust silencer) is 69 kg.
- The displacement is 1,248 cc.
- The reduction gear is toothed belt-driven. It is mentioned that an oil cooler must be used, but not included.

- And more recently, a line of Verner radials has been introduced, in two series differentiated by their power outputs.
-The "Nicol" ranges from 16 to 75 hp and the "Scarlett" ranges from 60 to 215 hp.

“Verner radial”
-The Nicol engines are under development and have not yet entered production in early 2008.
-The following models are planned: the 3-cylinder without reduction gear with 12 hp at 3000 rpm, with reduction gear 24 hp at 5,500 rpm.
-The 5-cylinder engines give 19 and 40 hp respectively, and the 7-cylinder engines give 28 and 56 hp respectively. The reduction gears are 2.29 to 1.
-Likewise, the 3-cylinder Scarlett engines produce 71 and 100 hp, depending on whether they are available with or without a reduction gear. The 5-cylinder engine produces 125 hp, with a reduction gear 170 hp, and the 5RS with a supercharger produces 190 hp. The 7-cylinder 172 hp.

-Finally, in 2011, Verner primarily offered the VM133MK models with 84 hp and 1,300 cc. with fuel injection. Actually 1,329 cc.
-The VM133S, with the same displacement. Giving 80 hp at 5,500 rpm. Gearboxes on both models. VM133.
-And the new model, the JCV-360, with a new design and different from the previous ones. 4-stroke and 35/38 hp, with only 360 cc.
