We know of two models from this brand, one horizontally arranged and the other radially arranged.

However, the unique feature of these engines is that they are actually a group of smaller engines connected by coupling and disengageable housings.

This provides the security of a multi-engine powertrain, allowing one engine to operate independently of the other or together.

The MV2 is a coupling of two Rotax 503/582 models arranged horizontally against each other with the cylinder heads facing outward.

This engine is intended for the Dragon Fly helicopter. In the event of a failure of one engine, the other allows for level flight and assisted landing.

The MV4 has a propulsion system based on the same principle as the above mentioned MV2.

While the former has two engines, this one has four, which together produce 100 hp, coupled to a helicopter rotor's freewheel drive system.

Each engine operates in parallel with an individual centrifugal clutch.

It is said that even in the event of a failure of three engines, an assisted landing can be performed.

The author of this edition of Aeroengines AtoZ, through Aeroteca, collaborated on Version 2 of this video, which is presented here.

To understand the operation of the connecting rods, the 1929 Continental R 670 single-cylinder engine was chosen.

A demonstration of Version 3, improved at the author's suggestion, is also available on YouTube at a later date. This version shows bronze valve guides, improved valve spring movement, and the split crankshaft counterweights and front bearing balls also move.
