-Tucker acquired the rights and assets of Aircooled Motors Corp. (Franklin).

-Remember that these superb automobiles were powered by Franklin brand aircraft engines. Now, Tucker.

-However, the experience with the Tuckers was bizarre.

-A movie explained the story.

From Appendix 6: As we know from the main text, the Franklin aircraft engine factory (Aircooled) was acquired by Tucker to adapt its engines to the extraordinary car, of which he only built small series.

-It turns out that in various articles and magazines, it is mentioned that the engine was the air-cooled six-cylinder.

We've said this in several parts of this post, but now we're looking at the engine and transmission, including hydraulic clutches typical in the US, but with liquid-cooled engines!

Proof of this are two sets of the systems used.

Throughout this A-Z publication, we discuss automobile engines adapted for aviation, but there are cases like that of the Tucker car, which was based on an aircraft engine, specifically the Franklin (AirCooled) (see), whose brand they even acquired.
