Trud is an aircraft engine production organization, better known as Samara or Samara-Trud. Also known as KKBM.
-It mainly produces the Kuznetsov and Kuibyshev engines.
-There also are the small piston engines of its own design, with two opposed cylinders, the KKBM P-020 and P-032 MR, with 20 and 32 hp.
-The four-cylinder engine was the P-065, giving 65 hp.
-An engine from the Kuznetsov series, the NK-93 is a turbofan of the order of 175 kN.
-Looking at the following illustration, if it weren't for the double fan cowling, it would more likely resemble a turboprop.
Although the design dates from the mid-1980s, it wouldn't be certified until 1997 after more than 10,000 hours of testing.

- A possible derivative of the NK-93 is the NK-114, which was developed to power the IL-86 aircraft.
