See Hispano-Suiza.
From Appendix 10: At the Italian subsidiary of Bleriot (SIT = Soc It, Transaera), engineer Albert Triaca, an early Italian pioneer of aeronautics, removed the reduction gear from the Model 35 to adapt it to the needs of his aircraft.
“Triaca Modification”
The modification was simple and was carried out in accordance with Hispano-Suiza's direction: the reduction gear was removed and an extension was placed at the front end of the crankshaft.

During his time in the USA, he represented European equipment and adapted equipment and engines for American aircraft.

“Modificacion by Triaca, white part”
- The 220 hp Hispano-Suiza engines, surplus from the First World War, were modified to 180 hp according to a patented device (SGDG) by AC Triaca.
“Hispano Suiza with Triaca Modification”
- The modification was carried out by the Bleriot Aeronautique company, approved by the French Society of Hispano-Suiza and approved by the Undersecretary of Aeronautics of French Air Transport.
-The modified engines were completely new, having only been tested on the test bench upon leaving the H-S factory, allowing a modern engine to be sold at a more reasonable price with the best performance guarantees.
