Another conversion of Volkswagen car engines for use in light aircraft.

-Its basic lineup consists of three engine models, based on the 1835 cc, 1915 cc, and 2180 cc horizontally opposed four-cylinder engines.

-Another 2276 cc engine is mentioned, but details are unknown at this time.

-The 1835 cc engine produces 78 HP at 4,200 rpm and has been offered from 1990 to the present, with a carburetor and reduction gear, although it can also be delivered with a direct output.

-The 1915 cc produces 85 HP at the same 4,200 rpm, and the 2180 cc engine reaches 102 HP at the this rpm as well.

These engines are designed for use in scaled-down replicas of WWI aircraft.

From Appendix 10: The construction of these engines are related to "Airdrome Aeroplanes," these are adaptations of the Volkswagen automotive engine converted for use in home-built aircraft, etc.

Below we show the 1915 cc, 85 hp engine.
