This is Sundstrand Aviation Mechanical, now related to Hamilton Standard so that the current engines are known as Hamilton Standard.
-Sundstrand is a manufacturer of a number of aerospace components and equipment, among them it had the APU model 600 which was based on the Lycoming LTP-101.
-Sundstrand and Labinal of France, created a third company producing auxiliary power sources, an international corporation known as APIC (see).
-Due to the great demand for auxiliary power equipment for small jets and business turboprops, it decided to enter that market, becoming one of the most important suppliers of these APUs.
-They were divided into two main groups, those that only have power output to the shaft (SHP) to drive some accessory, and those with combined load, that is, output to the shaft and supply of pressured air and temperature for passenger cabins.
-Among the first we have a special one, known as the T-20G, of only 28 HP installed on some Learjet, King-Air and Citation II.
-Although the most standard has been the T-62T, of 95 HP, except for the -27 and -40C variants of 140 HP, all for executive aviation or helicopters.
-As we can guess, the T-62 is also the Solar and both are based on designs by Garrett (and AirResearch).
-For all this, sometimes it is easy to be mistaken by the appearance, it is necessary to go to the nameplate to be right.

-In a cutaway of the turbine we can see the similarity of what was said above.

-The speeds range from 50,000 to 75,000 rpm. These engines are a nuisance to airport parking crews, as while supplying energy or air conditioning on land, sometimes for hours, this noise is deafening, even with ear protectors.
-The combined-load T-62T models provide shaft power of 40 to 95 SHP and an air flow rate of up to 75 lb/min.
-Since the name Sundstrand is sometimes associated with Turbomach, this line is being investigated.
-Other Sundstrand turbines are the APS500, APS1000, APS2000, APS2100 and the APS3200.
“Sundstrand TJ-50”
-The Sundstrand TJ-50, with only 50 lb of thrust, is intended for target aircraft, drones, UAVs, unmanned vehicles or missiles, etc. Case of the MALD or LOCAAS.

-Remember that Sundstrand is Hamilton-Sundstrand, as it is part of that group.
“Another view of the TJ-50”
-The TJ-50 is designed to be produced in mass quantities.
From Appendix 9: The small TJ-90 turbine is a development of the TJ-50 that has been shown in the main text.
For military use, it uses the typical fuels, JP-4, JP-5 or JP-10 kerosene.
-It delivers 476 N, with reverse flow combustion chambers. The turbine and compressor seem to be the ones that are used in automotive turbochargers: centrifugal compressor and centripetal turbine.
