SUB4 engine specifications

This is another company that converts Subaru car engines for use in aviation.

-It is the Sub4 Aeromotive Ltd. of Hamilton, New Zealand.

-It basically uses the EA-81 to obtain various versions as we will see.

-The EA-81 displaces 1800 cc and uses a dual carburetor delivering 115 HP. but with an electronic fuel injection system, it raises to 125 HP.

-One quality of the presented mechanical reduction gear is that it can be installed in a upright or inverted position.

-Precisely the new reduction gear model is the one offered below, with capacity for engines up to 300 HP at 6,000 maximum rpm.
