The Sorek 4, which was exhibited at the Paris Motor Show, is a small “expendable” turbojet engine, that is, one that can be consumed by target aircraft, UAVs, etc.

-Sometimes written as Shorek.

-The thrust is not specified, but it has capacity to operate up to 33,000 meters altitude and at speeds of up to 0.9 Mach.

-Due to its architecture, we have a previous axial stage in the compressor, after that the centrifugal stage.

-The combustion chamber is annular but with a half section in the form of a “kidney”, taking the fuel by spraying that comes out of the rotor shaft. The turbine has one stage.

-It seems that the construction is due to Bet-Shemesh. See.
