-It began its activity in 1954 and two years later the first WP-5, the first turbojet made in China, was released.

-As we can see in the previous references of brands and organizations of engines made in that country, up to 20 models of aviation engines have been made in Liming.

-In evolution, Shenyang Liming addresses new projects such as the one shown below.

From Appendix 6: It was the builder of the WS-6 (and the following WS-6A and B).

-It is said that it did not meet expectations when in 1960, after the Chinese and Korean civil wars, a native one was made with Russian material, the WS-6.

-After the Cultural Revolution that stopped the project, the WS-6A was canceled, which would give way to the WS-6B. The WS-6G would be known as Qingling.

-The main difference between the WS-6 and the WS-6G was that while the former had cannular combustion chambers, the G has annular one.

-The Shenyang Aero-Engine Design & Research Institute is SEDRI, also known as Institute 606, it has also made the WS-10 and 10A. to replace the Russian AL-31F of their aircraft, since they had the same outer measurements.

-The WS-10 built at the Liming Corp. (Shenyang-Liming) is of greater power than the WS-6, with afterburning it reaches 13,200 DaN (Decanewtons).

-It is perfectly comparable with the AL-31F giving 12,258 DaN and equivalent to the American GE, F110.GE-100 with 12,268 DaN.
