The “Socièté d’Etudes et de Recherches pour la Mechanique, l’Electricité et l’Electronique, SARL” was founded in 1969, and was dedicated to aerospace products.

-In the motoring aspect, together with other groups, it made the following engines. The company was based in Toulouse as a subsidiary of Bonzavia. It started with a small 65 kgf thrust turbojet, the TRS-12.

-The Sermel TRS-25 from 1972 remained only a prototype.

-The TMS-60 was a 250 CV turboshaft that had no application and the turboprop version did not appear either.

-The SDS-12 was a compressed air starter for main engines, with power equivalent to 120 CV.
