This is an adapted automobile engine, with 4 cylinders. It was installed on the “Moustique” aircraft that weighed 429 lbs.

-This Farman “Moustique” reached only 80 m.p.h. And this engine was also installed on an English “Pou-du-Ciel”.

-The engine is from 1923, and it gave 16 HP at 1,400 propeller rpm, the engine weighed 46 Kg. The four cylinders were air cooled.
