It is an ingenious barrel or revolver type engine, with five cylinders but with a variable stroke, which gives many possibilities for low flights and at altitude, to recover compression values.

-It was initially designed for automobiles, but its aviation possibilities are much greater.

-It displaced a maximum of 2.5 liters in total and a minimum of 1.25 liters.

-The compression ratio varies between 9:1 and 14.5:1. it is known as an experimental CVS engine.

-It has an oscillating plate on the power shaft. This assembly (the dark part) moves to the right or left.

-In the first diagram it is on the left.

-It is this position in the diagram above, the cylindrical volume is higher and the compression is lower. It is considered a “flexible” engine.
