By contraction, this is RAW. They made experimental prototypes that were manufactured by other companies. For example, the 3-cylinder was made in Euskirchen, its base.
The RAW company was a builder of small engines for sport aviation in the 1920's. These engines had little power, due to the limitations that the Germans had in the postwar period.
“RAW 3-cylinder engine”
-In 1920, the Germans being restricted by the Treaty of Versailles in the construction of aircraft, they manufactured light aircraft and one of them, the Sablating had a three-cylinder RAW engine.
-The three-cylinder, fan-shaped engine gave 35 CV at 1,350 rpm.
-They made an upright, in-line, four-cylinder that gave 70 CV at 1,300 rpm and later a 100 CV six-cylinder.
“RAW engine, 100 CV”
-Another RAW engine was a 5-cylinder radial with a displacement of 343 cu. in. giving 50/60 CV.
-In 1922, there was a horizontally-opposed two-cylinder that gave 20 CV.
From Appendix 9: Now the 25/30 CV fan-shaped 3-cylinder engine has been seen at the Berlin museum.

-This brand features a totally original intake valve mechanism.
-It is not indicated which model it belongs to. As we can see in the below figure, there is an inlet valve on the piston head, an articulated rocker on the crank pin axis and a spring on the opposite side.
-The forces acting on the piston come into play, the downward pull of the connecting rod, the opposite spring closing the valve, etc. An unknown concept until now.

From Appendix 12: This is the Rheinische Aero Werke, and we now have a new 100 CV inline 6-cylinder engine.
