Revmaster was founded in 1959 to rehabilitate VW automobile engines, and in 1968 they started to design conversions of these engines for aviation.
“Revmaster engine”
-The company was first located at Chino airport in California and finally at Hesperia, in the same state.
“Revmaster R-2100”
-Initially there were two models adapted, the 1831D that gave 65/72 HP and the Revmaster 2100 cc that gave 100 HP.
“Revmaster engine, special”
-The latest R-2100 version has what we understand to be a “low voltage” ignition, because together with each spark plug it has the high voltage coil with the shortest possible high-voltage cables.
-There is a total of 8 coils and in the photo we see two of them together under the rocker cover.

From Appendix A2/6: From this brand, we know the 2.1 l. R-2100 model mentioned in the main text.
-Now, in the year 2008/9 Revmaster offers the R-3000, a larger engine that we see below.
“Model R-3000”
“R-3000 installed with modified manifold”
-Of the Revmaster-2100 we now show two photographs with a single carburetor the upper picture, and with double ignition the lower one.
"Views of two different Revmaster R-2100 engines"
-Dual ignition is provided by a Bendix D-2000 magneto, consisting of two magnetos recast into a single one, which is supplied from a single drive-shaft input only.
From Appendix 10: This well-known Volkswagen aviation engine transformer company has just introduced the new R-2300. It gives 85 HP at 3,200 rpm.
