Russian Balkan Railway Car Factory (Russko-Baltiskiy Vagonniy Zavod).

-It was operating in the time of Tsar Nicholas II and also during some months after the October Revolution.

-Then due to the collapse that was generated, including the economic one, it ended its activity.

-We have the manufactured engines as a memory.

-The considered M-1 was the RBVZ-6 with 6 in-line cylinders giving 150 CV. It was installed on the Ilya Murometz series V and G.

-The M-2 was a copy of the French Le Rhone model J in two versions, the first of 110 CV and the second of 120 CV for being a derivative of the Jb.

-The M-3 was the 12-cylinder Renault in V, WC model, 220/225 hp.

From Appendix 6: The RBVZ was the Russo-Baltic Railway Wagon Factory and before the October Revolution it had built the giant Murometz plane that had four 150 hp M-1 engines.

From Appendix 12: It is the "Russian-Baltic Railway Wagon Factory". It entered the competition to motorize the Murometz aircraft with two designs: the Sikorsky which was based on the 140 hp Argus and the V.V. Kirev who was in a 150hp inline 6-cylinder Benz.
