According to the agreement reached with Lycoming in the 1950's, the 230 CV O-435 model, a horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine was made. It had a carburetor and a dynamo.

-As it was destined for a small military training aircraft, the crankshaft output was of the Spline type instead of a plate.
