This company was a locomotive builder since the 19th century. It is actually "Nohab" (see). The name is a contraction of Nydqvist & Holm AB.

-As Nohab Flugmotorenfabrik it made the Bristol Mercury under license around WWII.
-Related to the Bofors, at a time it was called Bofors-Nohab. Also like Volvo, and SFA. There were other sections, such as the navy today united with Wärtsilä.
-It had sections dedicated specifically to the construction of the diverse material of land, sea and air.
-The Head office was in Trollhättan, Sweden.
