The Nohab Flygmotorenfabrik AB, made the Bristol Mercury and Pegasus engines under license until in 1941 it was acquired by AB Volvo to create the SFA, Svenska Flygmotorfabriken AB, (see).
-It would be absorbed by Volvo. They made the Mercury as shown, Model XXIV while it was known as the Flygmotor Fabrik, in 1942.
"The Mercury on a Palette"
From Appendix 12: NOHAB made the Bristol Mercury under license. Among them the XXIV.
“Nohab-Mercury” (PiP)
“NOHAB engine plates” (PeT)
-It is interesting to see that on the gearbox flange there is a plate that says "0'666: 1". In other words, for each turn of the crankshaft, the propeller shaft makes 0.666 or what is the same, it rotates at 2/3 of the engine speed.
