-Before reaching this situation, the two surviving engines in production were the NPT-151, a low-cost turbojet, with an inverted annular chamber and vaporizer burners.

-The ignition could be electric or by pyrotechnic cartridge.

-The lubrication oil has no collection system and is "total loss". The engine gives 150 lbf of thrust.

-The NPT-301 is also expendable and delivers 450 lbf of thrust. Below we see a cutaway of this engine.
