In times of the People's Republic of China the "National Aircraft Engine Factory" (see SAF also) was the factory located in Shengyang, which began producing engines in 1913 and in 1921 made the Bristol Jupiters under license.

-Later in 1932 they basically made Japanese airplanes with water-cooled engines.

-As of 1945 the USSR paralyzed everything and in 1949 it helped China with the Yak-18 and its 160 hp M-11FR engine. In 1958 they built the Ivchenko AI-14R and the Shvetsov Ash-62-IR.

-In 1959, they built the Ash-82V of 14 cylinders giving 1,700 CV and the M-332 of 140 CV (four cylinders in line).

-In turbines, they made the Klimov RD-45 in 1958 for the MiG-15, because in the Korean war against the United Nations (?) experience was accumulated with this material.

-In 1959 they began to manufacture the Klimov VK-1 engines for the MiG-17s. Later the Klimov VK-7 for the MiG-19 and in 1965 the RD-11 for the MiG-21.
