Like Marconnet, Morize patented a new rocket engine in 1917.

Morize's Device
"Morize's Device"

-It is based on a combustion chamber that expelled the gases in an augmentation nozzle in venturi shape, so that the external air mass influenced it, and as it was heated it came out at a higher speed, producing more thrust.

-To achieve effective combustion in the chamber, air was blown by a motor-compressor, it had a piston engine A driving a fan B and a balancing chamber C to stabilize the compressed-air flow.

-The air and fuel that came from tank F and pump G entered chamber D.

-This pump supplied both the nozzle and the fan motor. As simple as that.
