Minari makes engines for PPG, or motorized paragliders, in a very wide range.

-They are single-cylinder engines, but in different architectures, with a vertical upright cylinder, with an inverted cylinder, a cylinder at 45°, at 90°, and with a forced air cooling fan.

-The engines are 2-stroke and give 27 CV, weighing around 15 Kg on average. The crankcase is made of magnesium.

-With the vertical upright cylinder there are the F1-VE, VME and VMEC.

-With the inverted vertical cylinder there are the F1-VM, RM, RME and RMEC.

-With the cylinders at 45° there are the F1-AM, AE, AME, AMEC.

-The engines inclined to 90° are the M9, E9, ME9, E9-2E and ME9C. There are two displacements, the 180 cc that gives 27 hp at 7,700 rpm and the 200 cc that gives 29 hp at 8,000 rpm.

-With forced air are the Vertical VRFE models and the 45° one, the AERF.

From Appendix 11: On their website we have found two new engines:

The first one is the F1-M9-F PRO Frizzoni. A single cylinder of which there are 2 versions. The 180 cc gives 27 hp at 7700 rpm, and the 200 cc gives 29 hp at 8000 rpm.

The second is the STRATOS 400, an engine with 2 opposed cylinders that delivers 50 hp at 8,000 rpm. It weighs 36 kg with electrical system and battery.
