Manufactured by Usines Metallurgiques (see also La Metallurgique).
-As engines appear with three different names, it is decided to name them: Metallurgic, Metallurgique, La Metallurgique.
-The engine that is detailed below is the one at the Brussels Museum.
“Engine before restoration”
-The above photograph shows the engine before restoring. It is an upright, inline four-cylinder from the year 1910 and it powered a Farman 7.
-The cylinder blocks were two by two and the engine had single ignition.
“The same engine restored”
-The motor exposed in the Exhibition Hall has a good appearance.
-We see the side of the engine where the magneto is, perhaps a more modern one.
