Well known were his tests of rocket engines mounted on Opel cars (see) in collaboration with Fritz Von Opel.
-From the photograph we see that they were liquid fuel engines.
"Max Valier engine on Opel"
-Among the projects with rocket engines that Max carried out, we have rescued the projects that we show below:
"Plane of variable geometry, year 1928"
“Stratospheric plane of the year 1929”
"Max Valier interplanetary rocket"
From Appendix 6: From a 1927 publication in a paper entitled "Rocket Travel" (Raketenfhart), we have prepared a part of this chapter appendix on Max Valier (Valier).
-A pair of rocket-powered vehicles, the Rak 2 and Rak 7, are also on display at the German Museum in Munich.
“Both Rak 2 y 7”
"Refilling liquid oxygen in the Rak-7"
-In this interesting photograph we see Max Valier wearing a driver's hat.
-From an article by Max himself in 1926 we have the photographs that appear in the main text, and below some more unpublished ones.
"Mixed propeller-rocket plane by M. Valier, project"
“Another Max Valier project with propeller and two rockets”
"Six rocket engine version"
-This six-engine aircraft has extendable wings.
"Another project from 1926"
-This material is extracted from two articles signed by Max Valier in 1926 and 1927 entitled “Vom Flugzeug zum Weltraumschiff” and “Der vorstoss in den weltenraum”.
-He was a pioneer in rocket motor propulsion. Their tests were mainly done on land.
-These engines used liquid fuels. Precisely in one of the tests there was an explosion in which Max Valier died.
"The small car engine"
“And running”
From Appendix 9: In some old magazines we found drawings of the various projects he did on jet propulsion, both aircraft and rockets.
