LUBE - NSU

Spanish motorcycle factory Lube partnered with the German NSU. One of the motorcycle models carried a Wankel-type rotary.

-The facilities were in Luchana-Baracaldo, in Bilbao.

-They also made loose engines for general use, specifically the KKM-60 / III type 504 and the KKM-220LL Type 510 (see also NSU).

They were built for general use in motorized pumps, chainsaws, outboards, mowers, vibrators, fire-fighting and small vehicles.

-The information is taken from an aeronautical magazine so its use could also be at least in motorized paragliding.

-With 60 cc, it gave up to 5 CV at 7,000 rpm in short periods.

-The KKM 220 LL has a displacement of 215.5 cc and gives 13 CV at 6,000 rpm for short periods and 11.5 CV at 5,000 rpm of continuous power.
