This is the "Lockheed Propulsion Company" and successor to the "Grand Central Rocket Company" since 1963.
-They made a series of auxiliary thrust-vectoring control engines for spacecraft, capsule-escape system engines, etc.
“LPC-415”
-Although these engines used mainly solid fuel, there were also hybrids of solid propellant with liquid oxidizer.
-They were used in projects of the time such as Apollo, SRAM, Saturn, etc.
-The LPC-415 was for USAF SRAM (Short Range Attack Missile) missiles. It used solid propellant.
-The LPC SR13-LP-1 is known for air-to-air missiles. (Solid Rocket).
-The Apollo project's escape-capsule-launch engine also carried another LPC engine, type A-1, to separate it from the Saturn rocket in an emergency.
-As we saw in the Lockheed chapter, other series of engines were the Viper, Sword and Lance along with those for orbit correction (LP-119) or reentry (LP-118).
-RSVPs could stop and start multiple times, making it a controllable system for multiple space applications.
-A photograph of the LSM-156-5 is offered in the chapter mentioned above.
“Launch escape system”

-The launch escape system that we see in the bow of the Saturn is a small rocket that launches away from it if an emergency occurs. The photograph shows a test carried out on a small "Little John" rocket where we can see the system.
