-During the USSR period, Aleksander Ivchenko's design office in Zaporozhye passed to Aleksander Lotarev as successor.
-Currently the simplest product is the DV-2, a small two-shaft turbofan.
“DV-2”
-The D-36 is a 14,300 lbf turbofan that has 3 shafts. It is mounted on the Yak-42, the Antonov-72 and -74.
-One of these three shafts belong to the fan, one to the low pressure compressor (LP) and the third to the high pressure compressor (HP).
“D-36”
-While the fan spins at 5,300 rpm, the LP spins at 11,200 rpm and the HP at 14,300 rpm, all at maximum (100%).
“D-136”
-The D-136 became known as the most powerful turboshaft of its time to be used on helicopters.
-They gave around 11,400 SHP and were destined for the Mi-26.
-The main models are almost identical to the D-36. Instead of driving the fan, it drives a two-stage power turbine (at 8,300 rpm max.).
“D-236”
-The D-236 is similar to the D-136, but modifying the fan to drive two contra-rotating multi-blade propellers.
-The front one has eight blades and the rear one six. This engine is intended for the Tu-334.

-The primitive propeller had 16 blades, 8 on each.
“D-436K”
-The D-436 K version engine was still more advanced than the D-36, although the T version has been the one that went into production.
“D-436T”
-It is a three-shaft fan, but the turbines are derived from the D-18T. It gives 16,500 lbf of thrust.
“D-18T”
-The D-18T is much larger than those of the D-36 family, with 51,600 lbf of thrust. It is a high-by-pass turbofan. We see it on the An-12 and An-225 aircraft.
