Dirk engines are built by Loch Laird Engineering, Pty. Ltd. of Padstow in New South Wales.
-The Dirk engine is a 36 hp twin cylinder at 5,100 rpm and 41 hp at 6,400 rpm. They were manufactured between 1981 and 1983. They had a double magneto and the option to carry turbocharger. It could be delivered with direct output or gear on request.
-With turbocharger it reaches 57 hp. This is the Dirk engine, model 2-500a.
