LAVOTCHKIN engine specifications

NPO Lavotchkin has developed rocket engines like the S1.5400 A (11D33M) for its missiles.

From Appendix 6: Aircraft designer Lavotchkin's propulsion department disposed of the captured Junkers Jumo 109-004 engines. With them and thanks to head of design department, Ivan A. Merkulov (see Merkulov), an afterburner was developed for the Russian derivative of the previous German engine, the RD-10.

-It became known as the RD-10F and delivered 1,230 Kgf of thrust instead of the normal 800 Kgf.

-Merkulov made designs for ramjets and pulse jets that were tested on Lavotchkin's planes, from the latter's OKB-301 Design Office, propulsion section.

-As stated in the main text, rocket engines like the one mentioned there also came from Lavotchkin.
