E. Laäge et Klianguine made a 16-cylinder barrel engine that gave 300 CV, having 8 double cylinders, like two drums of a revolver, around the central axis of the engine. Year 1923
-The try-out drawings showed the value of the principle.
“Laäge et Klianguine engine”
-We see the Edouard Laäge engine with the upper cover taken off. There appears the fixed sinusoidal channel through which the rollers of the rotating cylinder cranks are moving, eight on each side.
“Laäge engine”
-In the main text it appears with the top cover installed.
-Other information tells us that it worked according to a 6-stroke cycle, in which the intake and compression strokes were half the way of the power and exhaust strokes.
We located a development diagram for the Laäge engine's operation.
“Schematic drawing obtained from an old publication”
-Variable strokes can be seen imitating the inclined plate. It deserves deeper study.
