Joseph L. Cato was an engineer at the LWF Engineering Corp. He designed a horizontally-opposed two-cylinder engine (see Cato and Marlin-Rockwell).
“Cato-Marlin”
-It gave 72 hp at 1,825 rpm, and weighed 2 lbs per hp. It is known that Cato wanted to build a 10-cylinder radial engine of which there is no further news. It was planned to reach 500 hp.
