The ITA pulsejet engines with 13.60 Kgf of thrust were mounted on the Brazilian Paul Baungartl PB-64 helicopter, at the tips of its main rotor blades.

-We achieved a picture of an installation example of the pulsejets on the helicopter.

From Appendix 6: ITA is the Aeronautical Technological Institute of that country.

-In these moments they are developing low-thrust turbine engines, among which are:

- A turboprop with 1000 SHP for the pilotless Vant type Predator B airplane. It is the model TH-1000.

-The work on turbines in this new ITA stage is recent, the TH-1000 is being developed between 2009 and 2012.

-The turbojet version will be the TR-1000.

-Other engines are the TVRD-100, the TR-3500 with 3500 lbf. (in development to reach 5000 lbf of thrust).

-There are also versions for industrial use called TAPP (TAPP-1000, TAPP-5000, etc - sometimes TPP-)

-The first turbine in Brazil is the TJ-2, from the year 1983 and from which we see a part in the above photo: the compressor and its diffuser, the inner part of the chamber and the exit towards the turbine. It delivered 350 Kgf of thrust (1,300 CV).

-Returning to the current stage of ITA, which is considered the second stage, the TR-3500 is the first product.

-As has been said, the TR-3500 has given rise to the TAPP-5000 for industrial use (generator, pumping, etc.).

-Anther variant will be the TE-5000 turboshaft and the simple diagram is as shown below.

-Another derivative of the TR-3500 is a stationary model running on natural gas, the TVRD-1000 with 1,000 kW of electric generation capacity. It works since 2007.

-From this engine came the TVSE-1000. The designs of all these turbines were made at ITA. The construction seems to be done by the Brazilian company TGM Turbines.
