Institute of Aeronautics and Space. For its 4-stage rocket, it used the following engines from IAE itself.

-1st stage: 4 x S-43
-2nd stage: 1 x S-43TM
-3rd stage: 1 x S-40TM
-4th stage: 1 x S-44

-All these engines used solid HTPB fuel.

From Appendix 6: It is the Institute of Aeronautics and Space. (Instituto de Aeronáutica e Espaço).

-They are dedicated to space study and development with their rocket program, the "Cruzeiro do Sul". They developed the following satellite launch vehicles:

-El VLS Alfa,
-VLS Beta,
-VLS Gama,
-VLS Delta y
-VLS Epsilon.

-In terms of engines, we start with the small L15 that was developed towards 2007. It runs on alcohol and liquid oxygen and generates 15 kN.

-The fuel supply to the L15 engine (just like the small L5 with kerosene/LOX (5 kN), was done by tank pressurization.

-Nevertheless, the most ambitious engine is the L75 that delivered 75 kN running on kerosene and LOX but with fuel supply by turbopump.

From Appendix 9: IAE built the following rocket engines:

-Sonda 1
-Sonda 1 booster
-S-31
-S-40TM
-S-43
-S-43TM
-S-44

In August 2012, IAE carried out this hot test on the L-1 rocket engine that works with ethanol and gaseous oxygen.

-The body is water cooled, and it is considered a test engine for the Institute.

-In Brazil it is known as "Motora L-5". The land trials were made in 2011.
